Oh My God! I deleted a comment

Yes it's true. I actually deleted a comment. Did I want to censor the person? Was it for profanity? Was it spam? The answer is NO to all of those.

But why Steve? Tell me why?

Simple: the person did not focus at all on the subject of that particular post. Also, 2 post below it, I made the following post: Tip: Leaving a relevant comment in the good post.

So, what was the comment and where?

To protect the person, I will just rewrite unedited the comment. It was in my post: Official Alexa Toolbar for Firefox is out!

I simply can't believe that you are rocking the default Wordpress 2.0 theme on your blog? Do you have any plans to change it? Does this make you stand out more?

To be polite, I will answer it anyway

Except for 2 (here and The Contest Winner) out of my 5 blogs, all my other blogs got a non-default theme. The Contest Winner is only one week old. Call it laziness (or lack of time) if you want but I don't mind the default theme for now. Yes, content is still more important than looks for me.

Do you have any plans to change it?

Yes but not for now.

Does this make you stand out more?

Yes because you left a comment. ;)

What will I do next?

Because of that, I will take a few minutes to add a link to Tip: Leaving a relevant comment in the good post. near the comment area. I will have to change the default theme. With all those little changes, does this mean it's still the default theme?

Bloggers: You can copy the code below if you want to add it in your comment area.

To the original commentator:

Thank you! Your feedback gave me the opportunity to make a post about it. I was already thinking of adding it in my comment area but your comment gave me the little push I needed. I just did not think I would had needed it that soon. ;)

Tip: An email(see my About) could had been more appropriate in this case.
